A Family Tradition of
Public Service

Judge Sheehan with his
father, State Senator Gus Sheehan.

Judge Sheehan is cut from the
cloth of a strong, honest, hardworking family
for whom public service has been a calling.
The Sheehan family name has long been
synonymous with honest, principled public
service. Martin’s dad, the late Gus Sheehan,
served Kenton County for over thirty years in
public offices that included Trial
Commissioner, Commonwealth Attorney, State
Representative and State Senator.
Gus taught Judge Sheehan to
respect public service and to strive to serve
the community honestly and responsibly. If Gus
were still with us we believe he would be
proud of the job Judge Sheehan has done.
